Towing manual shift X300
Hi folks,
I have a 1996 X300 five speed manual. I need to get it transported along with a MGF. Since the MGF is riding low I plan on having it put on a flat bed with the XJ towed by the wheel lift on the back. Can the XJ be towed with the rear wheels on the ground in neutral? If so, are there speed / distance limitations? I am sure this is in the owners handbook but it's in the car some distance away and I cannot get to it.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Xalty. Just wanted to make sure this Getrag unit is not like LT77/R380 gearbox that has an internal pump which is not driven unless engine running & in gear. The parts catalogue does not shown any internal details. The towing company is baulking at this so if anyone else wants to chime in, the more answers I have the better.
