Member Johnny Mayday posted this chase scene with an X300 on the Series I, II, III page. In case you haven’t seen it, it’s pretty cool. Of course, the car is completely destroyed so it’s only for those of you X300’ers with the strongest of stomachs. ;-)

I hadn't heard of this scene before but it was fun to watch (except for all of the destruction to another innocent Jaguar). Obviously, the car is built like a tank!
By pausing I was able to pick out some details. The car was a 1995 Vanden Plas. Short wheelbase, VDP trim including rear tables, chrome and wheel style, A 5500 rpm redline (don't do that!) means AJ16, and a 1995 larger square brake pedal.
Inconsistencies: The shifter had it's J-gate removed and had a piece of soft material in its place. The exhaust tips, seen several times, were round (like the later XJR).
Lucky the airbags still worked! Maybe they survived after all?
Beware of Cadillac drivers (first impact)!!

I noticed the redline markings of a AJ16 and assumed the V12 is higher
