I have seen brake parts, disks and pads advertised for the X300 (XJ6) Vanden Plau. My car is a basic XJ6. Is there a difference between the two models in regards to these brake parts?

Brakes are the same across the full X300 range (including the XJR).

 

That of course makes sense. However, I recently had to return a tail light that was sold as for an X300 VDP. It fit but had a different lighting set up. Lacks one pulb and had a reflector instead.
