XJ6 loses power when making tight right turns

My XJ6 loses power when cornering, flashes the check engine light for a millisecond then goes on, this only happens when making right turns, I tried the tank full or low it still does it. Any ideas?

Not to be dumb, but when was the last time you checked your power steering fluid? Just a shot in the dark.
