Tried starting my 1995 xj6 this morning. First turn and second turn of ignition key, all sounded like normal but the engine didnt combust and run on. Thus, I pumped the gas pedal and tried a third turn. Harsh screeching/grinding noise without engine turn over (sounded exactly like when an engine is running and you engage the starter motor). Confused. Battery? Starter? Fuse? Relay? Switch? Gremlins messing with my mind? thanks j
