So, I found a listing just now with a Vanden Plas for sale. 2003, 53k, $7500.

A Great deal, yes?

Well, a quick look at the exhaust tips shows that this may be a supercharged car.Which would make it an unbelievable deal. I'm thinking about calling tomorrow, and asking for the VIN number .

Hmmmmm I think 2002-2003, they were called the 'Super V8'....Strangely they didn't have a fluted grill or plinth while the 2000-2001 Supercharged Vanden Plas V8......there were very few X308 Super V8s......most people think think only the X350s had a Super V8 trim.

 

Just ask for a picture of the engine compartment without saying why.

 

It just a regular VDP.
It's hard to read the right rear badge but i'm sure it don't say "super V8" nor Vanden Plas supercharged ( The last one was on 2 lines)
