cabin noise xj v8 4Lit
Well, I would say you need to get someone to sit in the back seat while you drive around, in order to localize the sound. It could well be that there is something (say) under the rear seat. But before you start taking the interior apart you need to locate the area involved.
Noises can be tricky. On a non-Jag car, I had a wind whistle I thought was coming from the lower side of the windshield, but I had someone drive while I sat in the passenger seat and moved my head around. Turned out to be at the top of the windshield, behind the rear view mirror.
So identifying the source of these noises can be tricky.
