Default Driver's Seat Fat Man Function - disable?

My 2001MY XJR has the driver's power seat with memory function. When I turn off the engine, the seat automatically slides well back, and the steering wheel moves closer to the dash...fat man function.

I find this a PITA - I am built like a racing snake, so don't need the extra space to get in and out....and for any rear seat passenger, this is a real hassle. Given there is not a vast acreage of rear seat legroom, this function actually doesn't seem particularly well thought-out, which is unusual for Jaguar.

My question then: does anyone know how to disable this fat man function? I can't determine how by looking at the Owner's Manual in the section about seat memory. Perhaps it is there but I am too obtuse to figure it out.

Thanks.

there is a round switch on the left hand side of the column shroud, just in front of the dash lights dimmer switch. it is marked auto/off. turn it to off after you put key in ignition [saves having to adjust seat/wheel]

Default Sorted - many thanks

Andrew - thanks very much...the answer is so simple I feel dumb for asking...appreciate your help, and so do my rear seat passengers.

Happy Motoring.
