A few weeks ago I had trouble with the off side bonnet not opening and found past posts useful in solving the issue. So when today the drivers side wouldn't release I removed the wheel and inner arch rubber looking for the access holes to the release mechanism but found that the drivers side is different on my 2001 XJ8.

Does anyone have any advice on accessing the drivers side hood / bonnet mechanism?
