Gearbox Fault - 01 VDP
I've had my 01 VDP for about two years now and so far so good...but, when it is very cold outside (bellow 32 degrees) I get the gearbox fault message on dash and the car seems to be stuck in a higher gear. With the foot on the brake, I cycle the shifter a couple times (R-N-D and back to Park), shut off the engine and restart - everything back to normal - no message and smooth shifting. Last week I had the Mercedes dealer flush the tranny thinking it might take care of the problem - it didn't. Today at 24 degrees outside...gearbox fault message again. Any ideas? Thanks
