Hello all
I am trying to adapt a windshield washer bottle and pump from a 1998 XJ8 to my 1997 XJ6. The 1998 Jaguar washer bottle bolts into the car behind the front bumper just fine but the electrical connections are different. I have the electrical guide for my 1997 XJ6 car and the one for both a 1998 XJ8 and the 1999 XJ8 so I know the wire colors but I do not know which pin in the pump motor go to which. So there is a yellow with white wire, a yellow with green wire and a black wire arranged in a triangular pattern in the plug on the 1998 washer pump. Can anyone tell me which color wire connects to which pin in the pump wiring plug?

I will try to post a drawing or maybe a photo of the wiring plug on the motor later today if that would help.

Thanks

Are the bottles not the same where you can simply put the same year pump in the same year car? The picture idea is the best one and from what I read, it appears the wires may be out of the plug harness and that's the info you need to connect them up?

OK, I was able to run by the shop this evening and snap these photos. Again I need to know which color wire connects to which terminal on the pump shown below. There are three pins. One is going to be a black ground, another is a yellow with white wire and then a yellow with green wire.

Doesn't help
No, unfortunately it does not. I already have all of that information. I need to see a photo of the actual wiring plug that goes into the pump or have someone tell me which wires got to which pin in the pump. I already have the wire colors from the 1998 wiring diagram. What I don't have is the info about which color of wire goes to which pin.
