When he locked the Norma, the green clip was pushed forward where it does nothing. He just left it on.

 

Installed the new hose today, and again the green clip was pushed out when I slide the locking ring forward, but this time the hose and the locking ring seemed more securely in place, unlike that last one where the locking ring could easily slide back with the slightest touch.
Moving on now to the next stumbling block...

 

It seemed like the green piece was all one part in the video
and I think the green clip at the front of my hose removes separately
and popped out when I clipped it on, can't move the white part back even with a force so I still think to not worry about that clip
