Default Where to buy correct floor mats

My XJ8 came with some cheap aftermarket floor mats without the grommet to hold them in place -- where should I look for the correct mats? Also, how do I know what the color for the floor mats is called? Thanks.

the trim code is either under the bonnet located on the crossmember above the radiator on a sticker, 3 letter, MDZ, PED LEG etc....or in one of the front door shuts.

Searching ebay can get you some very good aftermarket ones or contact Jaguar for the originals, which by the way are Swiss made and rather expensive, particluarly so if going for lamb's wool!

Again, I must stress using the search function as this has also been discussed at length.

Thank you for your help.

I find the search function to be hard to use -- guess I just need to figure it out, but whenever I do a search I'm told that no results are found or I get so many threads that have nothing to do with what I'm searching for that it's impossible to find the ones I want.

So, I'll check for the code and look on ebay for some aftermarket mats. Thanks again.

I don't know if they are still offering them but I ordered a set of floor mats for my XJR from welsh enterprises a few years ago. I got the custom embroidery from them with a leaper and the Jaguar name. The price was reasonable, I think $130 for front and rear.

They sent rear mats for a long wheelbase car which seemed like a silly error since there are no XJR's with a long wheelbase, however they sent a prepaid box to return the incorrect rear mats and handled the return with no issue. once I had the proper rear mats installed my car has been good to go for several years in the floor mats department.

I checked their website (thanks!) and they only have red ones (or were they orange, I can't remember!).

Still looking...

that's unfortunate. The only other mats I have experience with personally is "lloydmats," their most expensive mat is about 1/2 inch thick and is of very high quality I would recommend them.
