Alarm module location 1993 XJ6 XJ40

Hi, late 1993 XJ6 / XJ40 here. The car was jumped a few times after the alternator died. EVERYTHING has been checked out air, fuel, spark, fuses. I was told that the alarm module often blows when the car is jumped. Do you know where this module is located, please? Hayes does not show it. I was told it is DPP1058. Is the module drop in or does it need to be programmed to the car's VIN? Regards, Bo

Thanks. So there are two locations? Trunk + under passenger seat?

So two locations and TWO units? Do you know if BOTH need to be programmed to the VIN number? Does anybody know somebody who can still do that, please? The jaguar dealer wants nothing to do with this..... Regards, Bo
