WD40 For Squeaky Belt
I was suffering from my XJ40's squeaky belt .The belt was already replaced but that irritating noise was being heard .
Today, I just thought that why not try WD40 ,you know it cures many issues lol
In a nutshell, I just squirted a few times around the belt and pulley with the engine stopping . A few minutes later, I started the engine and voila

That itching noise no longer in use opppssss be heard

Thank you WD40 , you rule bud lol ha ha

A squeaky belt can also be caused by the belt not being tight enough. Also, be careful when you spray DW-40. You don't want to get the belts saturated with this stuff. It could cause slipping on the pulley.
