I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum to XJ6 Series I, II & III forum. Other members here have a similar conversion and should be able to help.

I'm a TPI expert. Looks like you've got a 89+ speed density TPI system. I'd recommend a Painless Performance 60103 and the right GM ECM. In this case the ECM is a 1227730. You can use a V6 1227730 which are far less expensive. Then you'll need to send the PROM module to someone like me to have it converted to V8, have the VATS removed and the program optimized for you setup, (transmission, gear ratio, TCC function, speedometer calibration, etc)

TPI is a great match for these cars, all the torque makes for a good driving experience if they are setup properly.

If you have the original harness, I have all the wiring diagrams of what to connect to where, if you go the painless harness route then I doubt they will be any good, unless wires are same colour etc
but my diagrams are more for a series 3, with a high pressure fuel pump etc
