Found catastrofic damage on xj6 project!
pictures soon!
My head gasket was found to be in good condition however the #4 position is cracked and the cylinder is scaled with minor rust forcing me to re think my project. i am writing for suggestions because this is what im thinking i have no idea how to obtain it tho.
New rods and bearings oversized pistons with chrome rings and a cat claw head. supposedly the head will add 100 horse alone. any other ideas or information?

You may want to magnaflux your block to make sure you don't have any cracks in it. Before spending a lot of time and money on the modifications make sure you have a good starting point. I'm guessing boring out the cylinder will clean up the scaling.
Good luck,
Mike
