Nice silver / red leather 1976 XJ-6c popped up on Craigslist this morning for $8K. Been snoozing in a garage for 20 years.

I wish they would pop up here like that. Cheapest I have seen here is 20k,and not as good looking.

Your right Clarke....at 8k here I'd take it in a heartbeat!....I've seen a couple over $40k that still need tlc.....

Looks like a seriously good bargain to me. Someone over there, and preferably a member needs to buy that.
Obviously need more info on condition etc.

You need to talk to Alllyson again, and maybe let her see it, she may just fall in love with it.

I've little idea of relative pricing on the XJC cars. More than others,
seems so.


But, all is not gold. Snoozing, even in a garage takes it's toll.


Might be a very good reason for putting it away. Mechanical issue?
Electrical.


If it starts and drives, it is worth more than if it is a "mere" roller.
Oh, and if the engine is "stuck" and that condition isn't unknown to snoozing cars.


But, tempting, oh yeah....
