The res is marked on top with something like "Fill to bottom on neck" which is pretty full. Mine was about like that. I siphoned out a bit so it was not as full and drove a bit yesterday with no more leaks.

But I think the rubber gasket in the cap might be toast after 36 years so I will try to replace gasket. New cap is $43 at Moss so will try gasket first!!

I have a mity vac bleeder. Yes the nipples don't fit quite right. They are great as an assist to fill calipers, BUT, I ALWAYS have someone pump the brakes for a final bleed.
I also have remote bleeders on the rear calipers. The remote Line ends were stainless, check valve bleeders were stainless. The combination never would seal. I replaced the bleeders with brass ones to get a seal.

Clyde, I have been eyeing those remote bleeders. The construction looks superb and the idea is certainly worth while. Aside from the SS on SS bleeders, would you buy them again?

Yes I'd buy them again. I bleed brakes each year. Ends the mess, and you get easy access. This year I did a complete flush. It took nearly two quarts to get clear fluid at each caliper. If it's stainless bleeders against stainless hose ends, I'd try a static bench brinell the two. Then check the seal pattern on each piece. If no full circle pattern on each, switch to brass bleeders. Also, IMHO, check ball bleeder screws are a waste. They leak. If you are leaking fluid, you are likely sucking air into the system.
Car is still on stands. I can get a picture tomorrow.

Quick follow up.. drained off fluid and no leaks.. but also went to local hardware store and bought a nice O-ring that was the same size as the one on the inside of the reservoir cap. Popped that in and tightened cap down. So this may have helped too.

And other leak issue was on valve cover oil cap. Despite a new rubber gasket, it was leaking a bit. So bought 2 new ones and doubled them up. And so far no leak any more. Easy fixes for about $10 in rubber bits!!
