Hi there.
Thanks for the posts and the download info. I have an '85 XJS, how much different is the rack in my '85 XJS? I also downloaded the R134 retrofit info as well. My '85 has the original compressor in it. I had no pressure in the system, so the compressor probably leaks. Is there a place that will rebuild it or should I just get a new one? Is there a smaller replacement compressor for that? |

Thanks again Greg. I've seen the Sanden and wondered about that. It seems to be a bit smaller. I noticed when I removed mine, apparently the "PO" replaced all but those 2 for the same reason. I had to take it apart in order to do the compression check. In the process of pulling the engine to work on the oil leaks and was going to handle the steering rack rebuild at that time as well. BTW, compression is good.
