Default Mega Interesting New Video at 'Harry's Garage' XJC V12 Restoration & Repaint

Hi Guys

Just came across a New Video at 'Harry's Garage' Restoration and Repaint of an XJC V12

Should look amazing when its done but can anyone identify the Mid Rise Car Lift used in the Video? if its able to pick that Car up, it should be able to easily do the same with an XJS

Going by the Colour of the Car Lift, it could be one from Strongman Tools but maybe someone else would know for sure

OB,

Great video, I have a lot of time for Harry Metcalfe. And he does have some lovely cars!

I know Keith at XJ Restorations really well, a good mate of mine. In fact here's a pic of my pre-HE at Keith's place pre-Covid.

I'll drop him a line and ask him about that scissor lift for you.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul

Cheers!

That would be Great! and that looks like the 'goto' place if you need any work done on your XJS and your Car looks Amazing!

If its good enough for Patrick Stewart and all that......

The next time you speak to Keith, please could you also ask him, if there is any special procedure for Testing the Handbrake during an MOT as if it the Brake Pads get ripped off again, then maybe I'll have to drop the Cage for a second time which although quite easy, I don't want to keep on doing just for the hell of it

I guessed that Harry's restoration would be about 20k but unlike me, Harry didn't even Flintch!

Hi Guys

The Fun Continues at Harry's Garage XJC V12 Restoration Part:2

This time removing the Jaguar V12 Engine and Gearbox, all in one piece with a very interesting attachment on the Crane to lift it out
