13MY Brake Pads and rotors replacement

Already looked thru several post and the workshop manual but have a couple questions to confirm.
1. There are only two wire sensors, LF and RR on a normally aspirated XK w/standard braking. And both need to be changed. I have not got the warning yet.
2. When replacing rear pads is just releasing (pushing down) the the Electronic Parking Brake on console sufficient to release enough to install new pads? Then going thru the reset procedure that will come on after replacement.

My previous Jaguars 88 XJ40, 95 XJ6 Sov., 05 XK8 where totally manually set.

Thanks in advance

Read through the procedure for replacing the rear brake pads in the Workshop Manual as it explains what to do with the EPB when renewing the pads.

You can also use the search function on this forum as the topic has been discussed before.

I have replaced pads on both my 07 XK and my 2010XKR.
I had no problem pulling the caliper off the pads with the EPB disengaged. I did not replace my front wear sensor, as it was untouched, but my rear was shot($60).
