I came across this advertisement for a $245K XKRS. Not sure I would want to pony-up with that much dough, however it will no doubt end up in someones garage.

This is for the ultra-rare XKRS-GT, of which only 25 were made for the USA. This one has only 48 miles with 1 previous owner. Been on the dealer's floor since April 2014. It's face reminds me of a catfish!

A nice looking 2008 Porfolio coup for sale. It has 33,000 miles on it asking $37,800. This one has the adaptive cruse control. The Portfolio with the adaptive cruse was a $14,700 option. Alcon brakes as well. If looking looks like a good deal.

Yes, the seller of the XKR-S GT is reaching for the stars unrealistically. The XKR-S GT is an outstanding rebuild of the base model with a lot of re-engineering to enable the car to put the power to the pavement and comes with ceramic brakes. This should be the XKR to pick up in a few years after the depreciation is taken off if you can hack the ricer rear wing--one could always remove it and replace it with the XKR-S wing.

 

There are two currently on Ebay. One is $134k and the other is $145k. So I guess if you are really in the market for one, a little shopping might save you a $100k or so.
