My wife wrecked our 2005 red Maserati Coupe 12 days ago which was basically "her" car to drive around town, so we started searching for a replacement. I saw a beautiful black/black XK for sale at Alpine Jaguar and we went and test drove it Saturday. It's a fantastic car and I would definitely have bought it if the car was for me alone, but my wife wasn't thrilled with the color, and was also concerned that it was about a foot longer than the Maserati. (She doesn't like driving big cars and refuses/is afraid to drive my XJL.) We ended up buying a red Mercedes SL500 for her yesterday afternoon that she thought was more "girly." Women!?!

Anyway, I wanted to let other members who might be in the market know about the XK. I did some preliminary research and found that the car had originally been listed for sale a couple of months ago for $36,000, dropped a couple of times to $32,000, and is now for sale at $30,500. That seems like a great price to me, and AFAIK, it is the only CPO XK for under $40,000 in the entire country.

Miles seem to be a little on the high side for this type of car but the price reflects this and it comes with a warranty.

Here in Germany the SL is more a car for old men 60+ and an XK is "girly"
