Do our cars have wide-band o2 sensors? Using torque Pro app

trying to measure AFR but maxing out ar 11.8 at wot which does not seem correct, using torque pro app
Do our cars have wideband sensors?

Unfortunately they do not.

They don't?

Odd. Even my 04 STR has them.

The upstream sensors are wideband, but you won't get any reading from them at full throttle. What you're seeing is the last measurement before it switches modes.

The "maxing out at 11.8" is because when you go to wide open throttle the O2 sensors are switched off and the PCM runs "WOT enrichment", this is how it works in the PanPag PCM, as i've been told.

Mine only have 4 wires on the upstream O2 sensors not 5 wires like a true wide band and the reading from from both HP tuners and SDD remained unchanged at at all RPMs.

I just want to be able to read AFR at wot properly

Is my car different?

Long story short, you can't at WOT, the PCM "switches off" the O2 sensors and just runs off the fuel mapping. Only option is a 3rd party wideband.

Can't imagine why it would be...

When you say "reading remains unchanged" are you looking at voltage or current? The upstream sensors have a fixed voltage output, variable current.
