I'd like to update Bluetooth to stream from iPhone without a cord?

The short answer to your question is that the factory bluetooth module cannot be upgraded to include streaming. You have to use aftermarket solutions that are externally connected.

Also, quick suggestion, for the best answers regarding your vehicle you should post your year and model, there are differences between the 2007-2009 and 2010+ vehicles.

I dug and saw in your profile that you have a 2009, but it shouldn't require a research assignment to help you!

 

If you have aa cassette player, the cheap newer Bluetooth cassettes actually work great if your head is clean. Some have mics built into them for $20 to $30 on Amazon
