I thought about getting a skibox.. all the cool kids are doing it.. the youtube car guys.. lol.. but eh Ill pass for now. Me playing golf is a disaster.. however all my guns will fit in the back seat just fine. :)

By the way yesterday I installed the battery doctor. This thing is sweet! It will never let my battery die. As soon as it detects under 12v it cuts all power from the car. So now I wont have to worry about getting off of work with a random dead battery. A friend of mine has been using his for awhile now and loves it. Has remotes so you can turn on/off the power whenever and of course it does nothing when the car is running.

I was rocking that look way back in 1998, but I raise you 2 Porsche Mountain Bikes :-)

...and that's no photoshop! Tested at 90mph on interstate with no problems.

Interesting day today. I blew up my quickjack system, literally blew the tank off from hydraulic pressure. Hopefully they will warranty it for me, if not that's $1500 down the drain.

So I got my air bag setup completely working 100%. The car almost sits on the ground with my older wheels tucked so far in the fenders that its 1/4" from touching the inner top fenders. The maximum height is about what this car would sit stock. This weekend should be the big transformation with the widebody flares and new wheels installed.

Here is a bunch of pictures taken in my messy garage.

Came across this picture a couple of days ago and was reminded of yours. Thought you might like to see it.

Wow, getting close to done.
What’s the “You Slammed Bro?” thingy hanging out of the tow hook hole?

Ridicrick 04-27-2018 08:22 AM

That's pretty awesome!

That's just a silly tow hook strap from sickspeed. I also have a nice new tow hook that it hooks to but I haven't installed it yet. The track guys all use these to quickly pull it off the track, I just have it on there for fun.

Maybe TreVoRTasmin is looking at this post. Wasn't he looking for a ski rack on an XK coupe.

I need some major help here by anyone who has the knowledge. Last night my garage was broken into as well as a few neighbors garages. My dumbass left all my keys (including my one jaguar remote) and my wallet in the garage. Its all gone now.

I need help in how to get a new remote. I cannot move my car as its currently slammed and not movable. What are my options? At this point im seriously about to lose it... if its not one thing its another..... :(

10XKR 04-27-2018 11:48 AM

Wow man, that sucks, I hate thieves!

I can't help with the Key issue, I am sure others here will be able to.

But, you need to secure your garage, it is typical MO for thieves like that to come back at a later day to try and steal your car. I assume when you get a new key that they can render the old code invalid, fingers crossed.

Chin up, your resolve is just being tested and things will get better!

Yoo skrood. Unless you can find a dealer willing to travel WITH his SDD or some other indie-type-guy with similar abilities. Be prepared to tow your car to the dealer and pay $500 for the first key and $285 for the second one, plus whatever your tow charges are.
Oh yeah, and an aditional $275 per each Emergency Key Blade if you have a dealer get them. You CAN get Key Blades cut off the Key Code (I just found a guy to do mine!) for not much $$$, but do NOT buy aluminum blanks off eBay as key cuts tend to melt the aluminum and gum stuff up. This just happened to me, I have a brass key on order now.

Sucks, man.

kj07xk 04-27-2018 12:16 PM

:icon_that:
It won't be cheap, but your car's not bricked, new keys can be made.
Very sorry for your experience.
The guy in the office next to me is originally from Romania (Transylvania no less), and he wishes for the return of a 'Vlad the Impaler' to get rid of all these A-holes.

Ridicrick 04-27-2018 02:22 PM

How can I put my car in neutral without the key?

Cee Jay 04-27-2018 02:58 PM

It should be the same as this:

Ranchero50 04-27-2018 04:33 PM

I would scour the neighborhood looking for your keys. Most stuff doesn't go far before being tossed. I bet your wallet is with in 100 yards of your house. I find car owners manuals in the alley out back on occasion, go find the same model nearby and see if it's been rummaged. Cops don't have the resources to follow up on it.

Neighbor had someone bugger the side door lock to his house a couple days ago when his daughter was home alone. He bought a bunch of motion lights and some motion activated cameras that alert his phone when they get triggered. Said three cameras were about $500 but it was worth it for piece of mind.

I've been hit a couple times over the years. 6' rolling gate keeps the trash out now.

Remember, it's getting warm out and the cockroaches will be roaming.

Ridicrick 04-27-2018 04:47 PM

That worked thank you! Now to get my car towed 2.5 hours away sometime and have the Jag dealer make some keys. This project will now get put on hold for a bit..

+1 for the Romainian! Druggies looking for something to get their next fix going I'll bet!

I know the loss and hassel feels bad but the worst part is feeling violated! Know that we're all here pulling for you and hoping that eveything somehow shows up again or, at least, works out ok.

Take note that those buggers do usually return later hoping you won't think it could happen again. It wouldn't be bad at all if they got the sh!t kicked out of them too.

Check with your local locksmiths.

Took Me about 5 tries but i found one that had the software to program and even was able to source a “reman” key for ~$200 programmed.
