No power to sc intercooler pump when ignition is on, upgraded to Bosch 001

So I got to replacing my intercooler pump with the upgraded Bosch 001 pump. All went well but when testing power with ignition on I got none going to the pump . Any ideas? I checked fuse 24 under the hood, its all good.
Had the car running with new pump and dont notice any flow either. Is there a relay maybe?

If you don't see a fault code then I'd say you have no fault. Use Torque Pro or similar and watch your IATs. If they stabilise and you don't end up in Restricted Performance mode after 20/30 mins of normal driving then you have no fault. When my pump failed that was exactly what happened, if yours isn't doing that then you likely don't have a problem.

Hmm all service manuals I find tell me, power is on with ignition.

Iv seen that , does it tell you the power is on with ignition on? I cant figure it out
also relay r12b is nowhere to be found

Index says LH suspension turret under the hood so it should be in there.

Thanks yes I know it should be here
but all I see are relays r5 r7 r8 no r12,

Thinking about this I think I was there a couple months ago and I think the relay is internal to the module. You can pull the F24 fuse and should measure 12v on one leg.

Yes I checked 24 there's no power. so I'm suspecting most likely is that coolant pump is not on with the ignition but only on certain conditions. so if it's internal relay where would that be?

One would assume that it would be thermostatically controlled. No sense in circulating already low temp coolant.
....but where....................

I did more testing and yes the pump works on certain conditions, but not that with ignition on. Not sure why the service manual says otherwise.
I'm planning to rewire soon to have it on all the time on ignition
