XKR Tailshaft Rubber Coupling

Hi,

I'm hoping someone may be able to help here. my rubber coupling on the differential end of the tailshaft has a split in it and i thought it should just be a simple replacement. Unfortunately, I've now discovered that Jaguar doesn't sell this coupling separately and they want you buy the complete tail-shaft assembly at around GBP1,000, that equates to around $2,500 Australian Dollars!! Ohh please!
I hope that there is a direct replacement available or a source to just purchase the rubber coupling, noting that mine is a 2007 XKR and I believe the XK's are different.

Any help on this is most appreciated.

Get the one from the S-Type for $50, exact same part

EDIT

I remember someone saying that the Holden Commodore uses the exact same part, but I haven't checked that myself...

EDIT AGAIN

Several decades ago when I had a German Merkur Scorpio, this rubber donut as we used to call it, broke apart on a regular basis. Ford, no longer was supporting the brand with parts in the U.S., and one mechanic who worked on the car said it was the same as that of all BMWs of the era. And I could always buy just the donut. Leave it to Cambo to come up with a simple solution.

Well, just to feed back. Sourced the rubber coupling from a Falcon turbo locally.

XKR with cracks on the left and the one on the right is the falcon unit. Even has the same part number!

What the heck is a Falcon Turbo?

Remember the car from Mad Max? It's an Australian Ford.

Haha, oh yes. Plentiful in Australia. Locally built.

Kinda looks like a four door Mustang.
