Hey all,

So I ended up getting a 1952 xk120 dhc. pretty low on the rust factor, but the doors have been chopped down at their tops. This was the car in the movie, Guilty by Suspicion. So now I'm looking for, amongst lots of other things, a passenger and driver side door with quarter lights, window regulators, windows, etc. Any clues where I might look, or does anyone have some they are willing to sell?
Any help would be appreciated

I had a '52 xk120 and it had no window regulators it had windows that could be attatched from inside, I think they were plxiglass ( i know, it's a trademark and later than '52) they hooked on to the doorframe by knurled knobs from inside, kept nothing out I ditched them and went with the weather, in vermont. but i was in my teens and twenties, mostly top down at the time.

 

The drop-head was different to the open top sports in that it had proper wind-up windows and door frames. Frankly, I think you'll find it very difficult to find a pair of complete doors for a DHC, but I do hope you succeed.
