1998 XK8 body module compatability
I've been told by a mechanic that I need a new body module for my 98 XK8 convertible. The product number on the one in my car is LJB2500AD, I can't find an exact match online. I can find an AC and an AF but not the AD. Do I have to get the exact module for my car or can another work as well. Jeff

Here's the TSB on module compatability:

The only way to be sure is to use an identical full number.
Note also that convertible BPM's are programmed differently from coupes so you need to check the source of a used replacement.
