Default 2" Seat Extension

Finally I have enough legroom. I used 3/8 X 7/8 X 18 bar stock. A lot of holes to line up but worth it. Now if I could just get the wheel to extend another half inch it would be perfect, but it's not uncomfortable now.

Leg room isn't so much my issue as seat height is. I wish my seat was a bit lower to the floor. I'm 6'4" and like sitting as low as possible. I'm tall enough as it is!

I am 5'10" and can barely see through the slit of the steeply raked windshield. Do you drive by looking OVER the header or just pull the people and bicycles out of your grill when you get home?

I throw her in drive and just hope for the best! Lol

I tend to slouch when I drive so that helps.

Most of my height is in my legs (I'm 6'8" and as far as I know, the tallest member in an XK) and I've considered this mod, but I want my wheel as close as possible, so I may suffer a bit, just to keep the wheel a bit closer. It's really not that bad for me since I have a thin frame.

Yes, the traditional English wheel placement is close, as to the continental straight arm style. Just be sitting more upright you can compensate, but you may not have enough headroom then.
