355/20 tyres on my XKR
I love really fat rear tyres on my cars and had always thought the factory-fit 285/30s were just a wee bit skinny.
So, I ordered some extra meaty 355/20s last week and had them fitted this morning. What do you think?

I love it! I'm with you when it comes to fat tires. My XK8 came with stock 255's on the rear. I installed 285's because that's as wide as I could go on those rims. Your 355's look awesome! How wide are your rims?
I'll translate for the other Americans out there:
255's are 10 inches wide
285's are 11.2 inches wide
355's are 14 inches wide!
With both tires combined that's another 8 inches of tread width over stock XK8 tires, and about 6 inches more than stock XKR tires.

And, to be honest, the extra weight of the tires is going to have a slight impact on the car's performance. It might cost you a tenth of a second or so in acceleration and increase breaking distance a wee bit, but they look great!
