Automatic shift/selector button mod
I saw reference to a modification for the X100 to have gear selection buttons but can’t remember where I saw it. Think a tuning company offered it. Anyone help with a link?
I heard racing green used to offer it but was a while ago.

I did wonder how difficult it would be to do myself as the 4.2 engine with zf6hp is the same combo as the first incarnation of the x150 which had paddle shift. Countless BMWs that use the zf6hp also have paddle shift too.
I did find a ZF technical document once that showed the pinout of the mechatronics connector and 2 of the pins are reserved for manual + and - shifts.
My hope was that a x150 steering wheel would almost be straight swap and some simple wiring mods could connect the paddles to the mechatronics loom.
All I have is a theory though and a long list of things todo before I get to anything experimental.
