Last couple of days i have experienced a blinking of the lights on the instrument(dash lights) also when first starting out after sitting for about a week the headlights were dim , then brightened back up ...but still blinking dash lights ... voltmeter reads ok as seems to be charging - any advice?

 

just had the exact problem with my 06 xk8;dealer replaced switch under warantee and problem solved

 

I have same issue. When I twist the light switch at end of blinker I notice I can effect the contact. When I get it just right the lights stay on.
