Coolant leaks continue.
After replacing the hoses that goto the coolant overflow container located in the right front wheel arch and replacing the container I still had a leak.
Then i got the valley hoses replaced at a shop as there was clearly coolant in the valley.
Not 20 km's later the dreaded Engine Coolant Low warning again. Now I see a puddle of water front right. On inspection it look like the leak is at the top right of the radiator. I have to remove the fan pack to get a better look. Starting to get really fed up with the continuous coolant leaks!
Anyone any ideas about a leak right front?

Top hose looks OK as I can see that easily, can't feel any moisture around it. I can see coolant just below but as mentioned I think I need to take out the fan pack to get a good look.
If you just fix one leak at a time you'll be chasing leaks for months. When leaks start you have to bite the bullet and replace everything. All the hoses age at the same rate, and many will start to fail around the same time.
Also, the radiator. Is it original? If so, it's long past time to replace it. The plastic tanks develop cracks and leak. Unrepaired, they will eventually burst.
You need to take a bigger picture approach. If the radiator is original, replace it. Also replace each and every hose. Then you'll have another 10+ years of leak-free driving.

Top right is where my original radiator started leaking . Those plastic side tanks are such a poor idea for longevity.
With your XK-8 you may be OK with the Nissen replacement radiator. For those with the XKR’s, expect the coolant temp to raise up a minimum of 10-15 degrees F. That may or may not be acceptable.
When summer comes I will be sidelining my
new Nissen manufactured radiator and buying the best used Jaguar OEM manufacture that I can find.
NOTE: I was warned by posts of this forum about the lack of OEM cooling capacity with the Nissen product . The postings stated it was due to the reduction in fins per square inch. Sorry I can’t recall who posted that to give them credit for the heads up.
