Angry cylinder numbering

Got a P0351 on wife's XK8; which is B bank (drivers side US) but can't find which cyl is #5 on my JTIS. Found bank location OK; is it the front one or the rear?
Also what's resistance range for coils..........

Thanks Adrian

Oh, depends on year! Only Jaguar would change the numbering system. In our case for a 2000 it's left front. Still need coil resistance ranges........................could not find them on SEARCH.
Thanks, Adrian

Coil resistance will not reveal internal arcing failures, which I believe is the most common mode of failure for the coils.

To check for a bad coil swap it with a good one on a different cylinder and see if the misfire code read on your OBDII reader follows the suspect bad coil.
