Default Door card repair

My drivers door car has been loose at the top back corner since I got the car, I thought I would just have to live with it till I found the post on the replacement clip by "The Coupe".

The palstic insert had broken at some point in the past, I am not sure what the point of the cable tie is.

The new clip is available from Jag.

I marked the position and then removed the old clip with a flexible knife.

The clip came off no problem.

I used 2 part epoxy glue to stick the new clip on.

Clamped for 24 hours.

Did the same epoxy fix on the same post in the door 'card'*. I also added four 3" x 8" strips of dynamat on the inside of the door skin. Also used a zip tie to hold down the long rod running from the inside door handle to the latch mechanism. Anything that rattled got muffled, tied down or wrapped.
