I don't seem to be able to find this topic by searching XK8, so perhaps someone can advise: The mirror glass is shaking, such that it makes rear viewing rather distorted. I would like to take the glass out and see what can be done. How does the mirror come out (without breaking glass or something else), and has anyone had / solved this loose glass problem? Thanks!

 

May just be the mirror itself but worth checking the motor mounts while you're there.

 

Many thanks, will take out glass and also check the motor mounts. It looks like the 'elastic' fitting of the glass should preclude the looseness coming from the 'clips'. I'll post a follow up.
