Default Enjoying exhaust modifications

Just picked up my xk8 from muffler shop and the results are nothing short of fabulous. Deleted two mufflers and replaced stock rear mufflers with 40 series flow masters. Great aggressive sound!

That is pretty close to my system. I love the sound. In hindsight I probably would have gone with 50s, but it sounds great. I'm assuming you kept the center muffler? I have an H-pipe and basically replaced everything cat back, plus some larger tips.

How about a sound clip of the new exhaust.

Wounder if leaving the stock center box vs replacing with an H tones down the flow master 40's a little as they are to loud for my taste and my shop says the 50's are to long to fit.

As I have posted (Mina rear muffler delete) is to me the best and easiest way to transform XK8/Rs exhaust note. Not sure how most of you feel about exhaust note but I didn't want LOUD just wanted it to sound like the sports luxury car that it is. I have achieved this for me. My sons friend has a new F Type. Real nice car but to loud for my taste.
Now when I get in my 70 Nova with flowmasters that's a different story.
