I finally purchased an original rearview mirror. I mostly want the Auto Headlights to work. I have two questions.

What is the bracket type that goes on the mirror to affix to the window?
What is the blue connector for? My mirror does not have a receiver for that wire.

 

i found what the mounting bracket should look like in another thread, now i need to source one
