front brake pipe
drivers side front brake pipe leaking
______________ 2003 XKR (added by GGG) |
I would replace it right from the ABS pump, fill the reservoir, put a rubber glove on the top and screw the cap on so the level can't drop, remove the offending pipe from the ABS pump, watch carefully how it fits, stick a blob of blutack in the vacant hole so as not to lose fluid, then remove the rusty pipe, I cut mine under the radiator and fitted a joiner to make it easier to fit in two pieces. Make, (Or have made) a new pipe preferably in Cunifer rather than copper, use your old pipe to gauge length and approximate shape, then re-fit. (Remove the blutack and the rubber glove) you can then just bleed out the front right side caliper, and all should be good.
