I have an amber engine warning light and a P0193 (Fuel rail high preasure) fault code.
The engine sometimes feels like it's surging a little bit. Any clues as to what could be the cause?

You can search this forum for P0193, there is a more complete explanation. Short version is that you can start with a container of quality fuel injector cleaner in the recommended concentration. The idea is to help clean the pop valve at the pump in the tank so it releases the excess pressure as designed, and not cause this code to appear.
