Default Missing coolant tank sensor wire.

One day my coolant level low message came on my dash. I checked the level and it was a bit low. I filled it and found the message still on. I checked it further, and found the wire gone after the plug. OK I was able to find replacement plugs but the question is where do the wires go? I have got new plugs for the bottom of the coolant tank, I can add wires. But then where? It's two wires orange and black with a stripe. Anyone know?

I have problems to understand your question but i would like to try to sort this out with you.
Your coolant tank has a Sensor with two pins on it. The Connector is still sticking on the Sensor, right? Now there are two wires hanging around from that connector but you cant find the cable coming from the harness?
I cant tell exactly where that wire goes from the harness to the tank because my car aint near to the house. What you should check is everything nearby where the harness is going. (maybe below the cover where the brake master cylinder is?)

Only to be sure: To eliminate the light you only have to stick together both wires coming from the harness. So if someone already did that it might be possible that the cable is tied back somewhere. The connection of those to cable came lose and now you see the light... is that possible or are you the first owner?

Default The wire I would short is not there as far as I can tell.

If I could, I would just re attach the wire. It's the wire that is gone. I know it attached at the tank. Where is the other end attached?

The coolant tank has a brown connector. There is no dangling wire anywhere. The wire at the brown connector was apparently chewed off by some critter. I don't know what became of the wire between the blown connector and wherever it goes to in the car. It's gone. No remnant, no hint of where it might go. There is no nub of correct wires anywhere I can see.
I took the connector off and ordered more. They did not come with the metal pins. I found the pins at a different company. These pins do not fit the connector! I'm a bit frustrated! Do you have any not electrical diagram way of telling me where the wires connect at the distal end from the brown connector. (To the car) A picture? A diagram that dosent vaguely say it connects to the canbus system. A pin pointable location.

Thank you!
