Hi guys my xk8 1997 4L start and cut !!!
i already changed ignition coil, fuel filter, plugs, crank sensor.
any body have an idea ?

Could be a failing fuel pump. Very common in the 4.0 cars, particularly when they sit for long periods of time....

Can you please describe a little better what is happening, how it stalls, will it start right back up and stall again? Starts, runs rough until it stalls? Tries to keep running?
Try unplugging the MAF sensor. It's right after the air filter box, and try to start again... What happens?

Thanks for your answer… I try the maf sensor to disconnected it and back but it’s still the same when i start the car it run for 2 sec and stop every time!!!Originally Posted by JayJagJay

Do you have fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail?

If you turn the ignition on for a couple of seconds, and then off again, you should see a good spurt of fuel if you depress the valve. Make sure you have some rag around to catch any spray.
If that checks out OK, then you need to get a code reader. A cheap ELM327 will do fine for reporting basic OBD codes.
