I recently found a product from scratchwizard for leather.
They match any interior color by code or perfectly match if you can send any interior piece. I first touched up the dove gray leather in my XF, then changed it to total black interior. Was a little work but it's totally re dyed and just as strong as factory. I've since used the black from that to touch my XK8 black here and there. This is not a paint product but an actual dye. Just prep the leather or vinyl, repair any damaged areas, even rips if not too big and it's perfect. They also sell the repair kits. I filled the creases in my XF seats and they look like factory new. |
Just went to their website, https://scratchwizard.net, to check it out. They show out of stock for all leather & vinyl products. :icon_cry:

How do you remove the windshield header ? The video is no longer available.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but just stumbled on this and it looks amazing.
I'm considering doing this on my A-pillar and front headliner but leaving the grey interior on the convertible roof. I presume the original poster painted those pieces while in the car after masking carefully? There seems to be no mention of stripping them off. |
I personally just redid my pillars and front window headliner in a synthetic suede and dyed my headliner black. Looks awesome:O)

Sounds great! Would love to see pictures!

Beautiful car! I have always been more fan of the coupes and never thought about buying a X100 convertible, till I saw this car. Is it being too much of a masochist wanting to own 2 X100s? A coupe and a convertible. This car is just gorgeous! |

What color is the outside of the top?
Just checked your album and see black top so black headliner would be great. You could start with the headliner and see if the a pillars would need it but I'd probably do it all black. It feels so much more expensive in black!! |
