Default Roof console

I'm learning quite a lot about my XKR here. My passenger side visor mirror is broken, and I discovered a great video from Reverend Sam on how to fix it.

The mesh cover on the sensor in the roof console has been pushed in. It would be easy to fix by pushing from the rear. I'm wondering if the sensor can be levered out just as the visor mirror?

Just pull of the cosole and then you can push the mesh back into shape with a small L shape alan key

Thanks for the reply. So is there a possibility of breaking a clip?

Just try to pull it straight down. You should be able to grab it from the back near the windshield. Yes there is always the possibility of breaking a clip on plastic panels, and the one in front is the most fragile. If you do not twist the unit you probably will be OK....just pull down.

There are two friction clips up towards the windscreen, one on a the left and one on the right. There's another one towards the back. Just stick a flat screwdriver in there and gently pry it down. It will pop off without breaking anything.
