Default Score!

Stumbled across a three pack of CR2032 lithium batteries (ones in our key fobs) at the local dollar store of all places, which is kinda handy as one of my fobs was dead!

Best part was the price, $1!

Second best part was the fob worked after battery replacement without reprogramming!

Remote Fobs shouldn't need reprogramming after a battery change provided none of the buttons are pressed during the procedure (see the section I've boxed in red):

As we all know, the suggestion about having to have the Fob reprogrammed by a Jaguar Dealer is not true.

Aside from pressing fob buttons and realizing battery was dead, I hadn't pressed any of the buttons during the battery change. I had both remotes and was prepared to program them after battery replacement.

When I set out to purchase a replacement battery I expected to pay anything up to $10 for one battery! The purpose of posting was to inform forum members of an unlikely source at an amazing price!

Thank you to everyone that contributes, the information and knowledge continues to making ownership of this grand marque more enjoyable.

That's an outstanding deal. The last two-pack of fob batteries I purchased at WalMart was about six bucks....
