Default Suggestion for parts suppliers

Here's an idea for the forum's parts suppliers:

Background: I'm a firm believer in preventative maintenance. My 2004 XK8 is now 10 years old and has 48K miles. Although there are no signs of trouble, I believe it would be prudent to replace many of the cooling system components as their failure can have serious consequences. Rather than doing it piecemeal, I would like to open up the kitty once and do everything.....water pump, thermostat, tstat hosing, all hoses including those under the manifold, etc.

Problem: researching and finding all the bits in one place and insuring that I have all the gaskets, clamps, etc. is nearly impossible.

Solution : it would sure be great if a parts supplier would put together a complete kit for this task.

Thoughts?

Hello George,

Thank you for the suggestion. We do offer kits for various restoration/repair jobs for many models of Jaguar. Unfortunately not one specifically that covers such an array of tasks on the XK8. Of course do not let this deter you from contacting us by phone or email and discussing any job you plan to tackle. Our knowledgeable sales staff will be happy to assist in all your parts requirements and advise on any 'extra's' you may not have considered, allowing you to order all items from one store
