Has anyone heard of a bluetooth interface for our cars that lets you use the cars built in phone buttons on the steering wheel and radio? Ear pieces dont work for me especially with the top down.

 

What year is the XKR? I had a 2006 with blue tooth I'm noy sure what year they started prewiring for blootooth

I don't think that Jaguar had a bluetooth interface for the 2002 model
If you search around in the forum you probably will find some posts having to do with some aftermarket equipment

I'm currently working on this with a manufacturer who does integration for my 2002 XKR too! I'll keep everyone here informed as there is any progress....it will take some time as we've just begun.

 

Please let me know as I am about to put in an EGO unit, and from what I can tell I will be able to use the volume on the steering wheel but not much else.

 

delays...delays....nothing on the phone yet but, I'll soon be testing some OEM audio integration that we've been working on that should be quite interesting and, solve some concerns and problems for those of us looking to improve the overall audio system performance without replacing the head unit. I will keep the forum informed as I can....
